Sheku-Kanneh Mason: Homecoming Documentary

Nottingham International Film Festival will be screening the Nottingham premiere of short documentary film Sheku Kanneh-Mason: Homecoming as part of Opening Night.

Sheku Kanneh-Mason, one of the brightest young stars on the classical music scene and winner of the 2016 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition, is already in great demand from major orchestras and concert halls worldwide and after playing the Royal Wedding his star is even further on the rise. 

Homecoming follows Kanneh-Mason's return to his hometown of Nottingham to perform and record his album at Nottingham's Royal Concert Hall. The film is an access all areas look at one of classical musics rising stars and the connection he has to the city he grew up in.

Sheku Kanneh-Mason: Homecoming screens as part of the Nottingham International Film Festival's Opening Night, alongside The Ballad of a Righteous Merchant at 4PM on Sunday 11th November at Cineworld Nottingham. Get tickets here:
