NOTTIFF 2016 Promotion reaches half a million people!

Promotion for the inaugural Nottingham International Film Festival engaged over half a million people in the Nottingham area. This included great local press support from publications such as The Nottingham Post, Left Lion Magazine and Notts TV, as well as the two main student publications, Platform and Impact magazines.

This was coupled with the strong PR and social campaign ran by the NOTTIFF team and promotion from the Savoy cinema, which included dedicated email blasts to their members and the festival trailer playing ahead of every screening at the cinema for a month leading up to the event. Das Kino also supported with a big social campaign and competitions.

The NOTTIFF marketing team was also out in force pounding the pavement and delivering 10,000 free festival guides and putting up hundreds of posters around the city. 

Not forgetting the filmmakers themselves, who took to social media to promote their film's screenings. With a combined reach of over 100,000 across platforms this support is always hugely valuable.

NOTTIFF will be going all out yet again in 2017 with more bold stories from the world of independent film.
